AEC Daily is the largest provider of continuing education to the Construction, Architectural, Interior Design, and Engineering communities.
We have the following industry-focused educational events scheduled:
February 19th, 2026 from 12:00pm ET to 4:30pm ET
Join us for the first AEC Building Design Series Event of 2026, a live virtual learning experience created for architecture and design professionals. Earn up to 4 AIA/HSW credits while exploring innovative design strategies, emerging building solutions, and real-world applications presented by industry experts. Each session delivers practical insights and product knowledge to support informed design decisions.
Insulated Translucent Panels & Sustainable Daylighting Design
Topics discussed include daylighting strategies available through the integration of structural sandwich panels, energy conservation, enhancements, options, form, and aesthetics. The many benefits to health, productivity, safety, and sustainable design will be discussed, as well as the specialty applications including explosion venting, blast resistance, OSHA fall through protection, and hurricane resistance.

Versatile Aluminum Railing Systems: Quick to Install, Designed to Last
Railings are often one of the most important parts of a deck or stair project because of the safety and security they provide, but they can offer character, style, and beauty as well as functionality. Today’s railing systems present many possibilities to create a unique design perfectly suited to the project needs. This course examines high-strength, powder-coated aluminum railings, from code considerations to installation and maintenance. It presents the versatile, mix-and-match capability of finishes, top rail styles, lighting, and infill options that offer long-lasting, easy-to-install solutions for residential and commercial applications, both indoors and out.

Product SpotLight - Warmth Meets Transparency: Integrating Wood and Glass in Contemporary Office Partition Design
This 15-minute Product SpotLight introduces WoodnLite, a contemporary wood and glass office partition system developed for today’s evolving workplace environments. The presentation explores current office design trends emphasizing warmth, biophilic principles, and material authenticity, and examines how the use of real wood paired with glass supports the shift away from industrial aesthetics toward more human-centered, comfortable spaces. Attendees will also gain insight into the design intent and innovation behind WoodnLite’s patent-pending wood rail and glass partition system, and how it differs from traditional aluminum-based solutions in contemporary office design.

Designing with Single Skin Metal Wall Panels
The E107 Designing with Single Skin Metal Wall Panels program familiarizes the audience with metal wall panel design options. We will discuss the things to take into consideration to ensure a safe and aesthetically pleasing project by utilizing metal wall panels to meet the intended design. We will educate the proper way to design the wall panel assembly to make sure water is properly drained so it will not cause future concerns.

Combustible Building Materials Under International Wildland-Urban Interface Code
This course will provide attendees with valuable information and context endeavoring to help improve a practical understanding of the International Wildland-Urban Interface Code (IWUIC) and its implications on the uses of certain combustible building materials in the building envelope. The course will discuss how the International Wildland-Urban Interface Code (IWUIC) is designed and structured to supplement other I-Codes (e.g., the International Building Code (IBC) and International Residential Code (IRC)) as opposed to exist as a stand-alone code. Course content will include helpful background and theory behind the wildfire hazards the IWUIC is intended to mitigate. Most importantly, the course will provide attendees with understanding and examples of how combustible building materials and assemblies are suitable, viable options for use in construction under the IWUIC and capable of complying with the applicable requirements.
