How do I make my account inactive?
We’ll be sorry to see you go, but if you want to to make your account inactive, you can contact us directly at 877-566-1199 or via email at info@aecdaily.com and we can help you out. NOTE: Your account is dormant when not in use. Not using the account is effectively the same as deactivating it.
Why can’t I sign in to my account?
Please try signing in with the email address you used to create the account or the one you used to sign up for a webinar or live event. You may need to reset your password; you can click the password reset link and follow the steps.
How do I reset my password?
Click the password reset link and then enter the email you used to create the account. We’ll send mail to that address if we recognize it.
Can AEC Daily change my password?
AEC Daily employees can start the password reset process for you, but are unable to update or access user account passwords. Please call us at 877-566-1199 or email info@aecdaily.com if you are having difficulty resetting your password.
I can't find the password reset AEC Daily sent?
Try checking your spam or junk mail folders or using your email application’s search feature to look for mail from info@aecdaily.com. It’s also possible that we did not recognize the email address you submitted when trying to reset your password. In those cases, we do not send any mail. If you continue to have problems accessing your account, call us toll-free at 1-877-566-1199. We’re happy to help.
Credits and Credit Reporting
What is an 'LU'? A 'CEU'? A 'PDH'?
LU = Learning Unit, CEU = Continuing Education Unit, PDH = Professional Development Hour. These are all acronyms for units of continuing education. AEC Daily typically relies on the unit hour, but you might see other units of education in pages containing course details and other places with in-depth information about a course or session.
When will my credit show on my AIA transcript?
AEC Daily reports credits to the AIA every 10 business days. If you have taken the same course previously, the AIA will not recognize the new credit. If you have waited longer than 10 business days and have not taken the course previously, please email us at info@aecdaily.com. Include your name, email address, and details about the course you are requesting follow-up on.
How and when can I receive a certificate of completion for my recently completed education?
Your course or session completion will be confirmed via email. This email will contain a link to your certificate of completion. For on-demand (online) courses, you can immediately access your certificate of completion in your transcript after achieving a passing score in the post-course quiz. For webinars and face-to-face events, certificates of completion are usually available 2 to 4 business days after the end of the session.
Can I retake courses?
Yes, you may retake a course anytime. However, many associations restrict how frequently a course may be retaken for credit. AEC Daily will only report a course for credit on your behalf once in a three-year period. We report credits to the AIA, LA CES, IDCEC, USGBC, and LA (Florida). Please verify the rules about retaking courses with your associations and licensing boards.
Courses and Quizzes
I can't find the courses I took! Where are they?
All completed on-demand and webinar/face-to-face education can be found in your transcript. Even if a course has become inactive since you completed it, the record is retained in your transcript. If you think your transcript is no longer showing previously completed courses, it is likely that they are under a different user account.Try signing in using other email addresses you may have previously provided. How do I take a quiz?
Each course in AEC Daily is associated with a post-course quiz. Upon achieving a passing score on this quiz, the course will be marked as completed. Every AEC Daily on demand course provides a quiz link at the end of the course materials. The quiz is password protected - YOU'LL FIND THE QUIZ PASSWORD CLEARLY MARKED WITHIN THE COURSE.
Webinars and Face-to-Face Learning
Where can I find the link to my upcoming webinar?
You should expect to receive a join link directly from AEC Daily approximately 24 hours prior to the session start time. For other types of webinars, the join link can be found in your Registration Confirmation email. If needed, you can resend this email to yourself by visiting your Transcript and clicking the 'Resend Email' button next to any upcoming session for which you are registered.
I missed the webinar, what can I do?
Many of our live presentations are available as recordings in our on-demand course library. To find a specific session, try entering its title into the search field at the top of the page. You can also browse the library to explore available sessions or check for upcoming scheduled webinars. If you're looking for a session hosted by a specific provider, you can search for them on AEC Daily, visit their showcase page, and use the 'Request a Session' feature to contact them directly.
