This course introduces sustainable material selection within LEED v4.1 and LEED v5, focusing on the Materials and Resources category. It covers product transparency tools such as EPDs and HPDs, strategies for achieving LEED credits, and approaches to reducing embodied carbon, with an overview of cold-formed steel framing as a sustainable building solution.
