Since 1969, Dryvit Systems, Inc. has provided Outsulation Systems to both the commercial and residential marketplace. These systems, generically known as ‘EIFS’, do exactly as their name suggests by placing insulation on the outside of the building, where it is most effective. The systems are used in both new and retrofit construction – where they are applied to the exterior of an existing building to provide improved envelope performance, energy efficiency, and modern appearance.
Outsulation Systems are lightweight exterior claddings used in all climate zones and on most building types. They are unique in that they can provide an air and weather resistive barrier, insulation, and decorative finish all in one, engineered system, installed by a single contractor. There are many finish options available, providing the aesthetic appearance of stucco, brick, granite, limestone, and metal.
